Biography

Since 2023, Joël Audenaerde has been working as the European Public Affairs Officer of the province of Flevoland in Brussels. In his position, Joël is responsible for representing Flevoland’s interests in Brussels and alerting new EU developments in the various joint priorities of the House of the Dutch Provinces to the province of Flevoland.

In addition, his activities consist of identifying and advising around the European thematic funds, such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, CEF and Digital Europe, in order to link projects in the Province of Flevoland to European funding programmes.

Joël holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in History from the University of Antwerp and a Master’s degree in European Politics and Society from Charles University in Prague.
