Biography

Anne Braakman has been working as European Public Affairs Officer for the province of Overijssel since 2024. She is responsible for maintaining relations with the Brussels network, promoting the province’s interests and advising regional ministers on European developments. Her focus lies on the priorities within climate, energy, nature, agriculture, and environment.

Career

Before working for the province, Anne was a trainee at the Council of the EU in the directorate fort he Special Committee on Agriculture. She holds a bachelor in European studies and a master in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University. She speaks Dutch and English fluently, and is proficient in German and French.
