Cohesion policy beyond 2020
Innovation is one of the important driving forces behind the Dutch and European economy. In order to stimulate the economy and drive innovation to greater heights, the EU wants regions and municipalities to work together with the business sector and research institutions on issues such as innovation, energy transition and a low-carbon economy.
Europe 2020
The European Commission has launched the EU-growth strategy “Europe 2020” in March 2010. The Europe 2020 strategy focuses on five goals in the areas of employment, innovation, education, poverty reduction and climate/energy.
Cohesion Policy
The European Cohesion Policy is an effective instrument that offers added value to the integral development of cities and regions. This strengthens the social-economic position of the regions and increases its sustainable development. Cohesion policy can contribute to the European goals that are mentioned in the Europe 2020 strategy.
Currently we are preparing a lobby strategy for the future European investment policy.
